A standard cell phone service on the other hand means that you never run of a credit on your phone as you do not have to top it up to make calls when you have used up your credit. You would simply use your cell phone as and when you wanted and would then receive a bill at the end of each month for the total amount you have made in calls for that month. However by doing so you will not know how much of a bill you are running up until it drops through the letterbox and sometimes this can be a very nasty surprise. However the cost per call is usually cheaper than with the pre-paid cell phone service.

Both options have their pluses and minuses and it is essential to check out the deals available for each before choosing the cell phone service that's right for you. You also need to shop around for a cheap cell phone service option as there are many different packages with the standard cell phone service. Sometimes you will be offered free minutes as part of the package or with a pre-paid cell phone service you might be offered extra top up if you put so much credit on the phone.
